Welcome

Antigonish Creative Dance Association is a non-profit, registered charitable organization established in 1976. Our mandate is to provide an inclusive, creative, and affordable dance program for all ages in Antigonish and surrounding areas. Currently, ACDA offers Creative Movement, Pre-Ballet, Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Modern, Social, Step Dance and Dancercise. The regular schedule of classes runs from September through May, involves over 400 participants, and concludes with three Annual Recitals in the St. Francis Xavier University Auditorium.

ACDA also offers summer programs such as a ballet intensive for serious students and fun filled day camps for younger dancers. Most of our classes are held in the Charles V. Keating Millennium Centre Dance Studio on St. F.X. Campus. 

ACDA is administered by a volunteer Board of Directors, and supported by Antigonish Town and County Departments of Recreation as well as numerous businesses and individuals in the community.
